Nazi Boni University
Nazi Boni University's Souro Sanou University Hospital is a reference hospital for the South and West parts of Burkina Faso. It has a capacity of 521 beds distributed in the specialized departments. On average, there are 120,000 consultations, including about 21,000 hospitalizations. The volume of activities in the Biology Cluster is estimated for 2018 to 250,000 tests. The virology bacteriology laboratory directed by Ass. Prof. Abdoul-Salam OUEDRAOGO is home to the National Reference Laboratory for Antimicrobial Resistance, which is responsible for coordinating the activities of the national laboratory network in the surveillance of antimicrobial resistance.
